A cold water pipe broke on the east side of the Harpa concert hall in Reykjavík yesterday afternoon. The general manager says the damage is minor.
General manager Svanhildur Konraðsdottir says a pipe has broken on the east side of the building in front of the goods reception. The water has been turned off and utility workers are working to dig down to the pipe.
A leak was noticed in an air conditioning unit on the outskirts of the building, but the damage is minor, according to Svanhildur. She says the incident is unfortunate but that it will not disrupt the events in Harpa concert hall.
