Betri samgöngur ohf. and Veitur ohf. are seeking tenders for the appointment of consultants to a multi-consultant framework for design-related consultancy services in connection with the Borgarlína project, primarily covering the preliminary and detailed design phases.
The procurement will be conducted as a negotiated procedure with prior call for competition under Directive 2014/25/EU and Icelandic Regulation No. 340/2017. It is intended to begin with publication of a contract notice and a pre-qualification stage, following which six candidates will be shortlisted and invited to submit initial tenders.
The purchaser will then hold introductory meetings and negotiation sessions with the shortlisted bidders before issuing an invitation to submit final tenders. Following evaluation of final tenders, the contracting entities intend to award places on the framework to three successful bidders and enter into the framework agreement after expiry of the standstill period.
