31.03.2025 Recycling facility for SORPA bs.

The Financial and Advisory Office of City of Reykjavík’s on behalf of SORPA bs, requests bids for the project: “SORPA – Recycling Plant, Lambhagavegur 14”, which was pre-advertised on 31 January 2025, see here: 66307-2025 – Planning – TED

The buyer plans to build a new recycling plant at Lambhagavegur 14, 113 Reykjavík. The recycling plant at Lambhagavegur will receive sorted waste from the buyer’s customers and will serve approximately 50,000 residents in the capital area.

Foundations, base plates and retaining walls are cast in place from reinforced concrete and founded on fill pads. The main structural structure of the walls is made of cast in place concrete. The roof over the main building and the canopy is made of roof units and glued laminated timber. Steel columns are under glued laminated timber in the canopy.

The roof and roof beams of the outdoor storage are cast in place from reinforced concrete. The exterior walls are clad with insulation panels and timber cladding. The site is mostly asphalted, there is a ramp between the service area and the public discharge area. The area will be fenced and have an electric gate at the entrance and exit at the site boundary

This is a general tender where any company can submit a bid.
