Fjarðarhraun will be completely closed between Hafnarfjarðarvegur and Reykjanesbraut tonight (Wednesday), from 7pm, until 3am tomorrow.
Information signs will be put up and diversions will be marked. The diversion is via Reykjavíkurvegur and Fjarðargata.
The aim is to work on the surface of a section of the road, together with a roundabout, on Fjarðarhraun in Hafnarfjörður on the evening of 3 June and in the early hours of 4 June.
The section in question is 540 metres long, together with the roundabout. Fjarðarhraun will be closed between Hafnarfjarðarvegur and Reykjanesbraut while work is under way. The diversion will be via Reykjavíkurvegur and Fjarðargata.
Road users are asked to respect signage and speed limits and to take care around the work areas. The work areas are narrow and workers and machinery are operating very close to carriageways.
