This educational meeting will discuss artificial intelligence and how it affects everyone’s daily work in the construction industry. The use of artificial intelligence in construction, the work of craftsmen and those who manage construction projects will be discussed.
Also, communication between parties and review of design data as well as planning. Digital design and BIM will be briefly reviewed and technological innovations controlled by artificial intelligence such as robots, drones, etc. will be discussed.
The meeting is open to all and free of charge to participants. It will also be streamed on Teams and those who want to follow it that way should register for distance learning.
After the lecture, there will be questions and discussions.
The speaker is Hjörtur Sigurðsson from Mynstra. He has worked for years on implementing digital technology in the construction industry, with a particular focus on BIM, artificial intelligence and digital workflows.
Hjörtur has extensive experience working for leading contractors and engineering firms, both in Iceland and abroad, where he has played key roles in the development and implementation of technology solutions for the construction industry.
