Significant works will soon begin in the arrivals area at Keflavík Airport. The project covers the corridor commonly referred to as the “customs passage”—the walkway passengers use when entering the country from the baggage hall—and the forecourt in front of it.
The changes will entail temporary disruption, but the aim is to improve passenger flow and enhance comfort for airport users.

Rental-car and coach services will be relocated and consolidated in a redesigned area, and the convenience store in the arrivals zone will be expanded.
Completion is scheduled for spring 2026.
