A new Catholic church is now being built in Selfoss. The Catholic bishop inspected and visited the construction site of the new church in Selfoss this week.

Bishop David Tencer and his entourage arrived at the construction site in Selfoss where the Catholic Church in Iceland is building a new church and rectory.

Representatives from the main contractor, Aðalvík ehf, invited them on a tour of the site and showed them the progress.

The structure is taking shape and provides a glimpse into the future church and its facilities.
