The pier in Vogar on Vatnsleysuströnd has been temporarily closed due to damage to the asphalt.
There has been a lot of sea flooding in recent days in the high tide at Vogar, just like in many parts of the southwest corner of the country.
A statement from the town’s environmental department says that the closure will last while cleaning and repairs are underway.
