EFLA AB had its best year in its decade-long history in Sweden. Starting the year with just four employees in Stockholm, the team has grown significantly, ending with eleven employees and the 12th team member joining in January 2025.
Expands and Relocates
To accommodate this growth, EFLA AB is preparing to move into a new office space in February 2025, an essential step to support its continued expansion in the Swedish market.
“This year has been a big milestone for us,” said Steinþór Gíslason, EFLA AB’s CEO. “We’re incredibly proud of our team’s achievements and excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue building a strong and united EFLA team in Sweden.”
Operations Bolstered by Global Expertise
EFLA’s operations in Sweden extend far beyond Stockholm. In addition to the local team, a large group of EFLA employees in Iceland, Poland, and Norway, along with a few subcontractors in Sweden, work on the Swedish projects. Together, this represents a team of around 50 employees and subcontractors dedicated to delivering high-quality service for the Swedish T&D market.
A key highlight of 2024 was the strengthening of EFLA’s business relationship with Svenska kraftnät, now EFLA’s second-largest client across the entire group. The year also saw the successful acquisition of numerous new contracts, contributing to a robust project pipeline for the next two to three years.
Strong Growth and Market Expansion
As EFLA AB looks to the future, the focus remains on sustaining growth, fostering collaboration, and delivering excellent service for clients in Sweden. The outlook for the coming years is bright, with significant potential to further strengthen EFLA’s presence and reputation in the region.
“The opportunities in Sweden are immense, and we are well-positioned to capitalise on them,” said Steinþór Gíslason.
